In 1885, local church leaders banded together as the Wichita Ministerial alliance to help those in need in our community. In the 1970’s, we partnered with other faith organizations and renamed as Inter-Faith Ministries of Wichita. Now, more than 135 years later, we continue the same spirit as HumanKind Ministries – embracing communities of all kinds in our work to help those living in poverty and the homeless.

The Center at North High is a model that has been extended to healthcare, and will soon be replicated with focus on IT and building trades. Lunch will  be prepared by our North High School Culinary students.
