Adam Barlow-Thompson // The Neighboring Movement // How Being a Good Neighbor Changes the World

October 31, 2022

Adam Barlow-Thompson is a co-founder and the Executive Director of The Neighboring Movement (TNM). TNM exists to connect communities by increasing the quantity and quality of neighbor-to-neighbor relationships. Connected communities have more trust, increased health outcomes, stronger economic development, and increased safety. The Neighboring Movement’s founding neighborhood is the SoCe Neighborhood just south of downtown; they also have a network of community builders across the state and work in churches around the country. Adam will share stories that highlight the impact of good neighboring and offer practical ways for Rotary members to be in service with their actual, literal neighbors.
