Rick Muma has served Wichita State University for more than 30 years — as a faculty member, administrator, provost and, currently, as its 15th president. Under his leadership, Wichita State has expanded its role as a driver of regional innovation through the continued growth of the university’s Innovation Campus and through the creation of the Wichita Biomedical Campus — a transformational collaboration with the University of Kansas. President Muma brings a background in health care and higher education leadership and a deep commitment to Wichita State and the community it serves.
