Nick Hague — NASA Astronaut and US Space Force Brigadier General

September 8, 2025

Get ready for an out-of-this-world program!

Brig. Gen. Nick Hague isn’t just a NASA astronaut — he’s the first U.S. Space Force Guardian to launch into space and commander of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission. He spent 170+ days aboard the International Space Station, led spacewalks, and conducted 150 groundbreaking experiments.

Hague will take us behind the scenes of life in orbit — from adapting when his crew was cut in half mid-mission, to what it really takes to live and work in microgravity, to how international teamwork makes space exploration possible.

This is a rare chance to hear firsthand stories of resilience, discovery, and the future of space operations from someone who’s been there.

Brigadier General Nick Hague, born in Hoxie, Kansas, is a NASA astronaut with over 374 days in space and four spacewalks totaling 25 hours and 56 minutes. Selected by NASA in 2013, Nick has served as flight engineer and commander on multiple missions to the International Space Station. He holds degrees in Astronautical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy and MIT and currently serves as a Brigadier General in the U.S. Space Force.
